Michael McCluskey has been restoring Shelby Cobras since 1969, during and after attending UCLA for Mechanical Engineering. "Actually my first customer was Carroll Shelby, the creator of the Cobra", says Mike.

McCluskey Ltd. was established in South Bay [map] in 1972 and since then has completed over 50 original 289 & 427 Cobra restoration projects. "In doing so I have acquired extensive knowledge of the Daytona Coupe, FIA Roadster and 427 Cobra SC and compiled blueprints, templates and tooling."

"In 1990 McCluskey was presented with an enormous production challenge; to set up a facility, tool, and build Carroll Shelby’s forty-three "Continuation" SC 427 Cobra chassis. My Team completed the first 9 handcrafted cars in 1992."
